Objective: To test and verify the curative effect of "Zhun Ya Kang"oral liquid consisting of Flos Chrysanthemi, Flos Lonicerae, Fructus Forsythiae and Fructus Comi in the betheellt of primary hypertension.
Methods: Control group was established for comparison. l54 cases in "Zhun Ya Kang" group (treated group) and 78 cases in Compound Jiangya Tablet group (control group). Changes of blood-fat, blood sugar and hemorrheologic indexes were observed before and after treatment.
Result: The curative rate was 90.9% in treated group. It was remarkably different to 65.4% in control group (P <0.0l). It showed more effective for hypertension of Stag I and II, high systolic pressure, especially diastolic Pressure. "Zhun Ya Kang" can improve blood-fat, blood sugar and hemorrheologic indexes. It is the key factor for reliable curative effect. It is safety in clinical usage and no any adverse reaction was observed.
Conclusion: "Zhun Ya Kang" oral liquid is an effective drug for primary hypertension treatment, it is of reliable curative effect for hypertension of Stage I and II, high systolic pressure, especially to diastolic pressure with remarkable curative effect and higher stability.
