Clinical Observation of Acupoint Injection with Vitamin K3 in Treating Pelvic Pain

Objective: Observing the clinical effect of acupoint injection with vitamin K3 in relieving the pelvic pain.

Methods: According to the medical history, gynecological examination and other relevant examinations, 180 outpatients suffering from the pelvic pain were divided into three groups, which were respectively the group of primary dysmenorrhea, the group of chronic pelvic inflammation and the group of endometriosis. The clinical observation had been made while the acupoint injection with vitamin K3 in Sanyinjiao (SP 6) was performed. The insight analogue scores evaluated the therapeutic effects and the clinical results were processed through X2 test.

Results: Among patients with primary dysmenorrhea, the remarkably effective rate was 88.33% while the total effective rate was 95.00%. When the comparison was made to the results of the other two groups, the statistically processed differences had significant meanings (P<0.05, P<0.05); in the group with primary dysmenorrhea, there had not been any big relation between the effective rate and the degree of the dysmenorrhea.

Conclusion: Acupoint injection with vitamin K3 in Sanyinjiao (SP 6) has both the functions of acupuncture and the functions of the injection fluid, it could activate meridian qi, dredge the meridians and activate blood flow, and it could strengthen the functions of the medicine remarkably so that the relief of pain could be obtained within a short period of time. This method is a good one to relieve the pelvic pain of patients having primary dysmenorrhea, and it has a certain effect in relieving the pelvic pain caused by other reasons.
