Objective: TO observe the clinical curative effect of needle with pure powder of Chinese herb medicine.

Methods: The mechanism of this disease is deficiency in root and excess in superficiality. Deficiencies in root means the deficiency of Qi and Yin, excess in superficiality is stagnation but not Dryness-fire. The rule of treatment is supplementing vital Qi for enriching yin and promoting blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis. In addition, the pharmaceutical function of the components is expounded. Result: After 6 to l2 week continuous treatment, fasting blood sugar (FBS) decreased from 9.9mmol/L to 6.5 and 6.0lmmol/L (P<0.05) and clinical subjective symptoms disappeared. This treatment has no harm to liver or kidney, but has an improvement to curative effect of mixed heparadiposum and hyperlipemia.
