Mang-needle means that the shape of needle is thin, sharp and long, looking like a tip of wheat. It can be used to penetrate through points. Its function is to regulate Meridians and collaterals, qi and blood, for eliminating and treating diseases. 1. Du Meridian: From Taodao(GV 13) to Zhiyang(GV 9).
2. Huatuojiaji points from T2 to T1o.
3. From Dazhui(GV l4) to Ganshu(BL l8).
4. Normal acupuncture at Dazhui(GV 14), Quchi(LI 11 ), Taiyang(EX-HN 5 ), Jinsuo(GV l8), Yaoqi(EX-B 9) and Liming (0. 5 cun beside Renzhong (GV 26) ).

Explanation: Baihui, a meeting point of the Bladder Meridian and the Governing Meridian is indicated to manic and epilepsy. Stimulation of Baihui, Renzhong, Jinsuo, Yaoqi can restore consciousness and relieve convolution and spasm. Houxi is one of eight confluence points, passing to Du Meridian as a important point. Conclusion: Mang-needle can be used to stimulate Meridians and tendons, skin areas and the surround tissues through long body of the needle. It can promote blood flow, regular qi and blood, strengthen qi and remove pathogenic factors, balance yang and yin under the transmission of Meridians and collaterals, so as to prevent and treat diseases and keep in good health
