Treatment of Hypertension by Using Needles, Magnetic Plaques and Lymph
It is characterized by the increase of the blood pressure of the aterial system. Its manifestations include: headache, dizziness, flushed face, insomnia and (in severe cases) palpitations, shortness of breath, poor memory even stroke may occur. It is classified into primary or essential and secondary types. Primary hypertension refers to hypertension with no clear causes. There is often family history of hypertension. The primary hypertension causes a disorder of the central nervous system. Secondary hypertension refers to hypertension occurring secondary to organic problems such as nephric, cardiac, or endocrinal disorder. In these cases hypertension is a symptom of the disease. Therefore secondary hypertension is also called symptomatic hypertension. Traditional Chinese medicine classifies hypertension as headache or vertigin. It is considered to be caused primarily either by mental injury resulting in stagnation of the liver and subsequent fearing-up of liver-fire, by improper diet resulting in deficiency of the spleen and accumulation of phlegm in the interior or by wasting diseases which damage the kidney-ying causing the liver-yang to become hyperactive.
Methods: auricular therapy She-men point, kidney point, stomach point, heart point, occipital point and sympathetic nervous point have been used on the patients once per ten weeks (1x10 weeks). At home everyday: The patients put a magnetic plaque on the wrist and make the water from the tap flow on the title finger to invigorate the heart meridian, practicing the lymph drainage under the chin on both side. The study has been conducted on 60 patients in a year and by the results I can say that on 30 the disease disappeared, on 24 the systole and diastole pressure values decreased and on 6 it has been necessary to start a pharmacological therapy.
