Study on interrelation between channels and viscera from diagnosis and

To observe the interrelation between channels and it's relative internal organs, pathologic reaction and volt-ampere charateristics of three Yin meridians of hand and its acupoints, including back-shu acupoints, were examined in 115 health person and 60 patients about cardiac and pulmonary system. Pathologic reactions of disease of cardiac and pulmonary system were showed on not only the relative channels but also the whole three Yin meridians of hand, which accords with the opinion of one-viscera-link-channels. And each of three Yin meridians of hand can respond to not only its relative internal organs but also others, which is consonant with the opinion of one-channel-link-organs. In addition, xin-shu and fei-shu have high sensitivity to disease of cardiac and pulmonary system, which show a relatively specific way connecting back-shu with its relative viscera. Meanwhile, author studies the relationship of channels and viscera from clinic. The analysis of curative effect, including these parameterized changes of lift physical sign, electrocardiogram, value of CGRP and ET in before and after treatment, shows more significant in the treatment group (P<0.05 or P<0.01), by acupuncturing heart and lung meridian in 60 patients of cardiopulmonary function failure. These imply that the statement of ischemia myocardial and anoxia and the function of endothelia cell can be also ameliorated by acupuncture. The above experimental and clinic researches verify evidently the objective existent of the interrelation between channels and viscera. And author considers there are 3 main aspects in the content of interrelation between channels and viscera. The first one is that there are close relationship between channels and the relative organs physically. The second one is that the pathological change of viscera can be reacted on the channels and acupoints. The last one is that physical or chemical stimulation on the channels can regulate the relative internalorgans, this is the mechanism of acupuncture treatment.
