Objective: Observe the clinical therapeutic effect of acute lumber sprain treated with acupuncture.

Methods: The midpoint of the line joining the midpoint of the second metacrapal bone of the radial side and the proximal end of the second metacrapal bone is the holographic lumber point. results: Disappearance of low back pain and rehabilitation of motor function are considered as the cured. All of 80 cases treated were cured. Among them, 66 cases were cured by one session, 9 cured by two sessions, and 5 cured by three sessions.

Conclusion: In the treatment of acute lumber sprain by puncturing the lumber point fewer points were selected bat with rapid effect.
