The result of treatment mainly given by operation, radiotherapy and chemotherapy of malignant tumor is not satisfied right now, this article summarizes that moxibustion has functions of inhibiting growth of experimental and clinical transplantation tumor cells from three aspects including basic theory, experimental and clinical research. Acupuncture can function in raising the count of decreased white blood cells caused by radiotherapy and chemotherapy, meanwhile acupuncture can improving immune function, relieving pain, eliminating symptoms and prolonging life span of patient. Direct electric currents therapy can also kill tumor cells. But simple employment of one method can not cure tumor, so, comprehensive therapy should be emphasized for improving the curative effect and looking for the regulariy of treatment of malignant tumor.
