Alternative Medicine Increasingly Popular in Norway
An increasing number of Norwegians are using alternative medicine.
A recent study by Opinion for Norske Homeoopaters Landsforbund (NHL), the Norwegian homeopathic organisation, has shown that last year, 40% of Norwegians used some form of alternative medicine.
The study also shows that more and more children under ten use alternative medicine. In 1985, 10% of the patients of homeopaths were children, while the current figure is 25%.
According to Dagbladet, a Norwegian newspaper, those who took part in the study had the most confidence in acupuncture and the least in healing.
