Scientists from the University of Hong Kong have developed an innovative technique to help children with autism. Tongue acupuncture works by stimulating specific points thought to correspond to brain functions. Results of a trial using the technique demonstrated an improvement in central features of the disease such as problems with language, social skills, cognition, hyperactivity, attention and aggression.
