Clinical Research on Treating Dysspermia Infertility with Acupuncture via
Objective: Observation on the clinical effect of the treatment for dysspermia infertility with acupuncture and moxibustion via adjusting Chong Meridian and Ren Meridian (Conception Vessel).
Methods: 35 cases with dysspermia infertility were tread with low frequency electro-puncture on Guanyuan (CV 4), Dahe (KI 12), Sanyinjiao (SP 6), combined with medicinal - ake - moxibusiton in order to observe the regulative effect of the treatment on genitility.
Results: Symptom integrals decreased after treatment and such decrease was especially significant in lumbosacral aching, frequent urination, emission and prospermia; activity and quantity of sperm, semen quality and spermatogenic environment (semen quantity increased obviously after treatment with significant decrease of mucosity and liquefaction time) were improved; hi-directed regulation on sexual hormone level in hypothalamus, pituitary and sexual gland with recovery rate of 33.5% in FSH, 35.3% in LH, 57.l% in EZ and 65.l% in Te was shown in the study; the most direct and obvious effect of acupuncture and moxibustion in the study was reinforcing neuroregulation function by stimulating S3, S4 and plexus hypogastricus that dominates prostate.
Conclusion: Regulation of Chong meridian and Ren meridian by electro-acupuncture combined with medicinal cake moxibustion is an effective method in treating dysspermia infertility, it is particularly effective for improving prostate function
