Acupunctural Analgesia in Vietnam


  Over the last 30 years (1969-1999) there have been 98.000 cases of operations done here using acupunctural analgesia, with satisfactory results: 95.5% good, 4.5%
  Unsatisfactory(Including 60 types of intervention:Thyroidectomies,cholecystectomies. Gastrectomies lobectomics, pneumectomies, inguinal hemia cures, hemorrhoid cures and so on. Choice of needle points in acupnctural analgesia according to the theoretical basis of traditional medicine, the relationship between Yin and Yang, between "organs and entrails" and the connection between "organs and entrails with the “five movement".
  Technique of acupuncture-analgesia use long and big needles with very great precision: needles have to be placed perpendicular to the skin or obliquely at a variable angle in a contrary direction to the meridian, to achieve desperation, acupoints can communicate with one on another meridian. Premedication: Light premedication such as a mixture of Diazepam 10mg and Atropinsulphat l/4mg or another mixture of Morphin 5-10mg and Atropin-su1phat 1/4mg.
  The results of researching on the laboratory for Biochemistry, physic-biology: Acupunctural analgesia (a/a) helps increase the pain-threshold through the increasing
   dosage of β--endorphinernia (before a/a; 35.58±10.50pg/ml; after a/a:46.25 ±11.42Pg/ml p<0.001), acetylcholinema (before a/a:l.841±0.459 μmol/L;after
  a/a:4.910± 2.053μ mol/L p<0.001), carccholaminemia (before a/a:0.085±0.017mol/L; after a/a: 0.181±0.25mol/L p<0.001), Acupunctural analgesia is shown the electrical activity of the brain that the increase of the percentage of the Q -waves and D -waves and decrease the low 6 -waves this is the quite useful to the process of controlling the painful preventive of the human body.
