Effect of MedicinaI Vesiculation on Hematopoiesis Function in Mice with
Objective: To observe the effect of medicinal vesiculation on the side effect of chemotherapy on the inhibition of bone marrow hematopoietic function.
Methods: Changes of peripheral WBC, bone marrow karyocytes and bone marrow microstructure in cyclophosphamide-induced hematopoietic disorder mice were observed after medicinal vesiculation on Dazhui (CVl4), Shenshu (BL23) and Zusanli (ST36).
Results: After intraperitoneal injection of Cy-toxan (CTX) on the first and forth day, WBC count lowered and kept in a low level. From the fifth to ninth day bone marrow karyocyte and WBC counts remarkably reduced on the tenth day, and hematopoiesis cells in bone marrow almost disappeared. Medicinal vesiculation could significantly promote proliferation of bone marrow cells, shorten the duration of low level of WBC. Especially, the moderate medicinal stimulation was much better in the therapeutic effect.
Conclusion: Our study indicated that medicinal vesiculation could promote the hematopoietic function in CTX induced hematopoietic disorder mice, which is closely related to the stimulating quantity.
