Acupuncture can dramatically help people with high blood pressure and severe heart problems, new research shows.

Doctors at the University of California School of Medicine in Los Angeles said they found the ancient Chinese practice has the potential to reduce pressure on the heart.

The research was presented at an American Heart Association meeting.
