ALLAHABAD: The second National Acupressure and Acupuncture Seminar will be held at Raharshi Mandpam Hall here from December 16 to 21 next.

The seminar has been organised by acupressure research, training and treatment insititute.

Talking to newspersons here on Saturday, Chief Coordinator of the institute K C Goyal said a team of 52 members would impart advance training in acupressure and acupuncture to about 150 people, who were expected to participate in the seminar.

He said the institute had so far trained 600 people and treated over 2.50 lakh people with these methods.

The main purpose of the institute was to train at least one member of every family in these methods which were cheap and effective, he said adding that they would also set up a camp during the Mahakumbh, to be held here in January next. (UNI)
