Basic Theory of TCM

We will teach you the Theories of Yin-Yang, Five Element, Five-zang Organs and Six-fu Organs, Qi (vital energy), Blood, Body fluids, Meridians and Collaterals system, Etiology (the causes of disease), namely, external causes (wind, fire, summer heat, dryness, dampness and cold), internal causes (the 7 emotions) and the miscellaneous causes (eating habits, trauma, fatigue, lack of exercise and sexual habits), and Pathogenesis, as well as Prevention of Diseases and Principles of Treatment.

Diagnosis of TCM

The Four Diagnostic Methods (Inspection, Auscultation and Olfaction, Inquiring and Palpation), among of them Tongue Diagnosis and Pulse-Feeling in detail, Differentiation of Syndromes, differentiation of syndromes according to eight principles, differentiation of syndromes according to the theory of Zang-fu organs, etc.

General introduction to meridians and collaterals, Fourteen principal meridians, Meridians traveling routes, Specific acupoint Groups, Methods of Locating acupoints on the body, Acupoints on regular & extra meridians, Point selection and point formula, Filiform needle and treatment Techniques, Moxibustion and treatment techniques.

Therapeutics of Acupuncture and Moxibustion

Teach how to use acupuncture and moxibustion therapies to treat about 50 common diseases & symptoms. Diseases & symptoms include as follows: diseases of internal medicine, surgical and dermatological diseases, gynecological diseases, pediatric diseases, and diseases of eyes, ears, nose, throat.

Including Property and nature of herbs, Four nature (Cold, heat, warm, cool), Five taste (Sour, bitter, sweet, pungent, salty), Prohibited herb combinations, Herbs which guide into specific Organs and Meridians.
