Dr. Shi JinIn, a haous coniemoraIy doctor of tradihonal Chinese medicine, was very k Astragali) in combination with Shan Yao (ANzoma Dioscoreae) as a pajx of effeChve drugs to treat diabetes. Bai Zhu (Rhizoma the sPleen, promote its transformallye funchon, and edrinate damPness to stoP diarrhea. It is confirmed by modem medicine that Bai Zhu (ANzoma Atractylodis MacrocePhalae) has also an action of lowering blood sugar. Combination of Bu Gu ze ooctUs Psoraleae) and Rou Dou KOu (Semen Myrishcae) may .. invigoat the spleen and kidney, and relieve diaIrhea.
