The paper reports the satisfying effects on 62 cases of auditory vertigo treated by moxibustion on Baihui point mainly combined with acupuncture.

1. Methods
(1) Points: Main point: Baihui; Extra points: Fengchi, Yifeng, Hegu, Taichong, Neiguan, Zusanli.
(2) Moxibustion: Keep a distance 1 cun between the kindled standard moxibustion bar and the scalp for 15 minutes while turning the bar untill the patients felt warm but no pain.
(3) Use of extra points: Stimulate on Fengchi(double) and Yifeng(double) for tinnitus; Zusanli(double) and Neiguan(double)for nausea and vomiting; Taichong(double) and Hegu(double) for tremor of eyeball; Use manipulation of even method to each point with retaining the needles for 15 minutes. Treat each day, and 5-treatment is one course.

2. Therapeutic effect
(1) Therapeutic standards: Cured: After one or two courses, the symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, vomiting, tinnitus disappear; can work normally and without recurrence within 2 years after the treatment. Markedly effective: The most symptoms and signs disappear or feel a bit unwell when moods and weather change, can work generally and walk; recurrence within half a year after the treatment. Effective: Accompanied symptoms and signs disappear, can work and walk lightly. Failed: No improvement on symptoms and signs after 15 day's treatment.

(2) Result: Among 62 cases, 38 were cured after one to two courses; 12 were cured after two to three courses; 5 markedly effective; 2 failed. The total effective rate was-96.8 %.
