Pathological Analysis of AIDS and its Treating Principle in TCM

The traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) Proves it effective to treat AIDS, but there is a big controversy about its pathological analysis.

Here the authors have analyzed AIDS pathologically and etiologically to point out that the vital Qi plays a very important role in the process and that the principle of the deficiency (Xu) and excessiveness (Shi) in 8 diagnose principles is a practical and reasonable principle to guide the clinical treatment.

According to this principle, 3 syndromes groups can be classified: deficiency syndromes (Xu), excessiveness Syndromes (Shi) and the combined syndromes of deficiency and excessiveness. The author has suggested the treating principle consequently, including the effective herbals and acupuncture points.
