Studying TCM and Acupuncture in Beijing

Medboo TCM Training Center is a noted educational institution of traditional Chinese medicine. The Center will hold the regular internship class for the distance training students and the advanced lecture on traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture and Tuina (massage) for all practitioners of the world, who want to learn more advanced theories and clinical experiences from China. Students who have completed the required courses will be granted relevant certificates. For the internship, we will arrange the students to take the clinical practice in the Wangjing Hospital of CACMS which is the contracted practice base of Medboo TCM Training Center.

Introduction on the clinical characteristics of Chinese medicine and acupunctureDiagnostic Methods of Traditional Chinese MedicineSpecial in Tongue and Pulse Diagnosis.
* Acupuncture theory

Given points and the manipulation of Acupuncture, Commonly used points in clinic, How to select a certain point quickly, Treatment of common diseases with acupuncture & moxibustion, Scalp acupuncture, Electro-acupuncture and Ear-acupuncture, etc.
* Diagnosis and treatment of common diseases according to TCM syndrome differentiation Treating the common diseases with herbal medicine, Clinical Experiences on the Special and difficult diseases, etc.

* Skills in practical Tuina techniques

Skills in practical Tuina techniques, Clinical Experiences on treatment of common diseases with Tuina.

Pre-requisites:

The practitioners who have finished the Medboo online courses or graduated from the TCM and Acupuncture School in foreign countries, or who can grasp the TCM theories systematically and wish to make clinical practice will apply for this class.

Certificates:

All those who complete the required courses will receive relevant certificates.

Course introduction

* The basic theories, principles and characteristics on the cosmetic acupuncture

* The common-used methods of the cosmetic acupuncture, such as body  

    acupuncture, moxibustion, ear acupuncture and cupping

* Acupuncture for removing wrinkles, fine lines, deeper lines appear softer, sallow 

   complexion, sagging skin, etc.

* The treatments of common diseases with acupuncture, such as sunspot, acne,   

  comedo, hair loss, age pigment, etc.

* The other methods used in cosmetic, such as Herb medicine therapy, Diet therapy,

  Acupoint catgut embedding therapy

* The basic theories, principles and characteristics on the acupuncture for weight lose

* The common-used points and manipulations for weight lose

* The diagnosis and differentiation syndromes of the fatness and obesity under the 

  TCM theories.

Open to qualified, experienced practitioners who know TCM theory

3. The Special Individual or Group Class

The special individual class is set up for 1 or 2 persons, the time-schedule and teaching term is flexible according to the individual request. If the number of applicants in a group is over 6, the Center will set up a special class for them. The time-schedule, teaching term will be arranged according to their request. Based on the length of period and the number of applicants, the cost varies correspondingly.

 

4. Accommodation and Transportation

Expenses other than tuition and fees for clinical practice include accommodations, meals, city transportation, and domestic and international long-distance telephone calls, as well as medical treatment.

Hotel accommodation Fee

*Standard room (two-bed room): US$ 25-30 each day.  

*Single room (one-bed room): US$ 20-25 each day

The hotel has a dining-hall providing both Chinese and western style meals. It costs about US$ 5-8 a day (3 meals) for each person.

Transportation Fee

* Coming to Beijing:

We will meet you at airport, please e-mail us a digital photo of you in advance, and

then we can easily distinguish you at the airport.

* Leaving Beijing:

There are airport shuttle buses near your hotel which can take you to the Beijing

Capital International Airport directly, the fare is 16.00 per single way.

 

5. Completion of Course and Certificates

All those who complete the required courses will receive relevant certificates.

All Participants are requested to arrive in Beijing one or two days ahead of the beginning of the course. They must abide by the Chinese laws and the Center’s regulations during their study in China. The Center will also make proper arrangement for those who with to pursue another course of study or make a tour in China, at their own expenses, after they finish their courses.
